Where to stay

Where to stay

Both of our events are in Brooklyn – but this is the greatest city in the world, so if you’d like to stay somewhere else and explore there’s no reason not to!
Here are a couple of neighborhoods we recommend, and hotels that we haven't stayed at that seem to have good reviews on Reddit.

Tip: This is labor day weekend, we do recommend booking early! We've found that using the booking.com mobile app, prices can be lower and they have great inventory around the city.

Williamsburg

This is where we live and it’s our favorite neighborhood. Right off the L train, it’s an easy ride into Manhattan or to a rave out in Bushwick. It’s a bit farther from the venue, and there aren’t any great subway options so plan to take a car.

The Hoxton

The Pod Hotel Brooklyn

The Penny Williamsburg

Arlo Williamsburg

This is where we live! And it’s our favorite neighborhood! Right off the L train, it’s an easy ride into Manhattan or to party in Bushwick. Note, while it is a great spot it's farther from the wedding venue and hotels may be pricier.

Manhattan

Just because our events are in Brooklyn doesn’t mean you have to stay here! If you want to do some sight seeing while you’re here, this may be the right option for you.

Red Hook

This is where the wedding venue is! It’s a cute, smaller neighborhood right on the water with some of New York's best restaurants. While it's cute as hell, it's a bit removed from most of the things you may want to see.

Getting around

Getting around

Subway
The subway is a great option to get around the city— and it's not hard we promise!
You can use Google Maps to see subway routes and train times there, and it's pretty accurate.
The easiest way to pay for the subway ($2.75) is to put a card in your phones wallet. You can tap your phone at the omni pay sensors at the turnstile in any subway station.
It will be hot in August, we recommend bringing a hand fan to cool you down when you're at the station!

Ubers
Are also here! For our venues that aren't the closest to a train, ubers may be the right way to go. But for most things you do in the city we recommend taking the subway.
